Aluminium-Polymer-Kondensatoren verwenden einen leitfähigen Polymer-Elektrolyten und bieten im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Aluminium-Elektrolytkondensatoren niedrigen ESR, stabile Kapazitätswerte und eine verbesserte Ripple-Strombelastbarkeit. Sie werden häufig für Leistungsfilterung, Entkopplung, Spannungsstabilisierung, DC-DC-Wandler, Computer-Mainboards, Server, Kommunikationsgeräte, Industrieelektronik und Fahrzeugsysteme eingesetzt.
