Aluminium-Elektrolytkondensatoren sind polarisierte Kondensatoren, die ein Aluminiumoxid-Dielektrikum und Elektrolyt verwenden, um hohe Kapazitätswerte in kompakten Bauformen bereitzustellen. Sie werden häufig für Netzteilfilterung, Energiespeicherung, Glättung von Ripple-Strömen, Entkopplung, Audioschaltungen, Motorantriebe, industrielle Steuerungen, Automobilelektronik und Unterhaltungselektronik eingesetzt.
